I have 22 years of working experience in the largest oil-field service company SLB R&D international centers. In this Top500 enterprise I have taken assignments in Beijing China (5 years as a software engineer), Dhahran Saudi Arabia (5 years as a senior research scientist) and Clamart France (12 years as a senior and principal interpretation development engineer and physicist).
I have strong knowledge and experience on the oil and gas industry reservoir characterization and interpretation software development skills. I am recognized as one of the Oil-based Mud electrical imagers data processing and interpretation expert in SLB. Two major image improvement/interpretation software packages I developed as one of the main contributors are currently in global usage by not only SLB data service people, but also other oil and gas clients. I have trained more than 160 people internal and external SLB on the new generation Oil-based Mud wireline electrical imager data processing and interpretation since 2015. I am familiar with hardware/software development lifecycle management. I have served on SLB technical paper review for many years and as a technical manual script reviewer for EAGE Journal of Geophysics Prospecting since the beginning of 2023. I volunteered for SPE Virtual Career Pathway Fair in 2021 as the Career Advisor for R&D development. I would like to serve for the ATCE program committee to further expand my network and contribute to the SPE society.
During the working experience, I also developed techniques for data gather, requirement management, multi-dimensional data analysis, physics modeling and inversion, commercial software development, software lifecycle management, and community mentoring. I am familiar with hardware development lifecycle management and communication skills with mechanical, electrical, physical, software and supply chain metier experts. I have trained more than 160 people in SLB and some oil/gas company clients since 2015 and become friends with most of them up to today.
