Xupeng He is currently a Petroleum Engineer with the EXPEC Advanced Research Center (EXPEC ARC) of Saudi Aramco. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Earth Science and Engineering and Energy Resources and Petroleum Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in 2018 and 2022, respectively. His research focuses on modeling fluid flow in fractured rocks and developing machine learning workflow for geo-energy applications. He has authored and co-authored 15 peer-reviewed journal papers, over 30 conference papers, and 12 granted and filed patents. He has received several awards from different organizations, including the 2023 EXPEC ARC Newcomer Award, the Young Professional of the Year Award from the Oil & Gas Middle East (finalist), and the 2022 Dean’s Award from KAUST.
