Ivo Colombo, Ph.D. is the R&D Team Manager for Digital Solutions in Geolog Technologies.

He got a PhD in Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2017 working on a project focused on the characterization under uncertainties of mechanical and geochemical compaction processes in sedimentary basins.

In July 2016 he joined Geolog as a junior data scientist where he worked mainly on the analysis, implementation, and development of signal processing systems based on statistics, sensitivity analysis, uncertainty quantification procedures, and machine learning techniques.

Since 2021 he has been coordinating a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on research projects involving digital solutions, engineering, and geothermal activities.
