Dr Amit Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering and Geoengineering, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Jais, Amethi, India. He completed his Ph D on the topic “Synthesis and Characterization of Zwitterionic Surfactant for Application in Enhanced Oil Recovery” in July 2020 from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad. Prior to his Ph D, he completed his graduation in “Petroleum Engineering” and post-graduation in “Petroleum Management” as a dual degree course from the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He has authored several papers in international SCI journals. His research area of interest includes enhanced oil recovery and reservoir simulation.
